Description

Organic Tapioca Maltodextrin is a functional ingredient derived from Manioc starch, commonly used in the food industry. It has good dispersibility and excellent water solubility, better than corn maltodextrin, making it easy to incorporate into a variety of liquid and dry preparations.

Its low hygroscopicity means that it absorbs little moisture from the air, which improves its stability and shelf life. In solution, it develops a high viscosity, making it useful for thickening or stabilizing certain formulations.

Organic Tapioca Maltodextrin is an excellent bulking agent (dry extract adjustment) and adds body and creaminess to low-fat products.
It also adds body to acidic or low-sugar fruit sorbets.
